Human Resources
The Human Resources component provides a comprehensive and structured access to the regulatory framework applicable to staff members of the United Nations Secretariat, and to non-staff personnel with a contractual relationship with the United Nations Secretariat. It provides references to all the relevant policy provisions included in the Staff Regulations and Rules and corresponding administrative issuances and policy guidelines. It is structured around a variety of thematic areas ranging from general provisions and the basic rights, duties, obligations, and privileges of staff members to specific human resources management topics such as appointments and promotion, conditions of service, attendance, and leave, learning and career development, and workforce management.
